HomeScribe is the blog site for me, Suzanne Chiles. I am a technical writer for a Fortune 500 Company that creates software for the financial industry.

I created this blog at the same time that my company asked me to start working from home. Working from home is a dream that everyone I know has and I didn’t even have to ask for it. One day my company told me it was issuing me a laptop and that I would be working from home.

It should work alright, as the product I work with is developed in St. Louis, managed and QAed in Florida, and has business analysts in Florida and Texas. I’m in Portland, Oregon, so I’m used to working on the project by phone and email. Which, of course, I can do just as easily from home as from an office.
